Join the Muskeg Flyers Nordic Ski Club as a Volunteer!
Are you passionate about the outdoors, community, and skiing? The Muskeg Flyers Nordic Ski Club is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help maintain our beautiful Hornbeck Cross Country Ski Area and continue offering top-notch skiing experiences for locals and visitors alike.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:
- Help groom and maintain over 30 km of trails for classical and skate skiing.
- Contribute to exciting events, like our annual Loppet, which brings the community together to celebrate the sport.
- Enhance our trail facilities, including warming shelters, picnic areas, and trail signage.
- Meet new people who share your love for nature, fitness, and outdoor activities.
- Support youth programs and skill development in cross-country skiing, inspiring the next generation of skiers.
No matter your skill level, there’s a role for you. Whether it’s helping with trail grooming, assisting at events, or contributing to club operations, your efforts make a huge difference in keeping skiing accessible to all in the Edson area. Join us, make an impact, and enjoy the great outdoors!
